From bare ground to living grassland.
Bare soil breaks the water cycle. Rainfall runs off instead of soaking in, and the little life that remains is lost. We manage for effective rainfall that sinks into the ground and feeds plants, instead of evaporating or forming a hard cap.

Grass returns. Animals trample, graze, and leave some grass behind, breaking the crust so new plants can grow. Roots slow the water, the soil becomes a sponge, and the small water cycle begins again.

Living grassland. Dense, diverse and highly productive, feeding animals, drawing carbon into the soil and building long‑term fertility. Over time, the land becomes more resilient, more valuable and better able to support both nature and returns.
